  • Support agent engagement efforts through outreach, relationship-building, and participation in industry events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape within New York.

Education & Training

  • Help oversee Westcor’s New York education programs, including Continuing Education (CE) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE).
  • Coordinate with internal subject-matter experts to schedule, promote, and deliver educational content to agents.
  • Track attendance, certification requirements, and program performance.

Financial Management

  • Learn and assist in building the annual state projection budget.
  • Support the Regional Manager in managing the New York expense budget with accuracy and accountability.
  • Conduct monthly P&L reviews for the state, identifying variances and ensuring financial targets are maintained.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with regional underwriting counsel and administrative teams (who report to the Regional Manager) to ensure smooth workflows and timely support for agents.
  • Collaborate with Corporate departments (Compliance, Education, Marketing, Finance) to support state-level initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in the title insurance industry, agency operations, or related real estate/insurance fields.
  • Strong knowledge of New York title practices and regulatory environment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrix-based organization.
  • Financial aptitude or willingness to learn budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
  • Ability to travel within New York and occasionally regionally.

Key Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to review data, identify issues, and propose solutions.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively with multiple departments and teams.
