Operations Associate

Location and Timeline: Strong candidates could be considered for a remote position, but we have a strong preference for someone based in Washington, DC or the surrounding area. This position is temporary with a flexible late July/Early August start date and will run until November 15, 2024.

About Us: Verdugo Strategies (VS) provides campaign operations support to Democratic and progressive campaigns and organizations nationwide. 

Position: VS is seeking an Operations Associate to support our community outreach projects around the country. The Operations Associate will report directly to the Lead Operations Associate and will support other team members. This is a full-time position paid at $4,500 per month, commensurate on experience. Someone that is highly detail oriented and has previous experience in a customer or tech support position would be especially well suited for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting field operations by responding promptly to requests for travel bookings, staff housing, program vehicles, and more
• Work with program leadership to manage the daily flow and shipment of supplies to canvassers programs around the country
• Prepare and process reimbursements
• Review weekly timesheets for accuracy and completeness
• Support leadership in refining and improving processes
• Other duties as assigned

• Proficient with digital campaign tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, etc.
• Commitment to advancing progressive values at the local, state, and federal level.
