Global Fueling Systems Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper in Long Island, New York. This position requires in-office attendance remote work is not available .

Global Fueling Systems provides sales, design, repair, and maintenance of oil and gas fluid management systems, and motor vehicle fueling systems.

Part-Time Bookkeepers Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review new vendor invoices and forward them for the approval process.
• Process vendor payments due.
• Enter new vendor invoices into the system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accounts are current.
• Work with Purchasing to resolve missing and disputed vendor invoices.
• Contact vendors regarding outstanding payables/receivables and address concerns.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
• Support the preparation of tax filings and financial audits.
• Perform other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.

Part-Time Bookkeepers Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Associate's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent Work Ethics
• Demonstrating excellent work ethics by consistently adhering to company core values and upholding professionalism in all tasks.

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4-hour shift (8:30 am - 12:30 pm)
• Monday to Friday
