ents interact with, improving ease of access to care at PT Plus clinics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Medical Receptionist:

Have a well rounded understanding of what we provide, responding to inquiries, provide general
knowledge regarding clinical skills, services and programs, and assist pati
ents with concerns and
questions

Greet patients upon arrival, assist with questi
ons, and take payments

Ensure pati
ent paperwork is completed, scanned into EMR same day, and shredding upon completion

Rou
tine, light cleaning to maintain a neat clinic

Maintain inventory stock for medical, retail, and office supplies

Maintain schedule density for clinics via processes provided

Patient Care Coordination:

Manage central phones, check messages, and return phone calls within 24 hours/1 business day

Manage incoming central faxes, reaching out to referrals within 24 hours/1 business day

Daily Review of EMR Task list

Perform a benefit check for rehab services and educate pati
ents regarding fees for their services

Complete Insurance Authorizationprocess and forms as needed

Maintain coverage throughout the entire POC, communicate with pati
ent and clinical staff
regarding
interruptions or barriers to pati
ent authorization, including when max benefits have been reached
