Pay Range: $20.75 - $31.12

Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) conducts assessments, completes health histories, and ensures proper patient care and referrals. The LPN identifies discharge needs, provides education, and communicates patient progress while managing their workload.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in identifying patient needs and care priorities.
• Demonstrate competency in department functions.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Delegate nursing interventions appropriately.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
• Communicate patient information effectively.
• Participate in health education.
• Assist in discharge planning.

Certification:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | North Dakota Board of Nursing | Prior to Start Date
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Minnesota Board of Nursing | Within 12 Months of Start Date
• Driver's License with Acceptable Record | Prior to Start Date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) | Within 90 Days of Start Date

Note:

• Temporary LPN license accepted prior to start.
• Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.

Physical Demands:
Occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and continuous handling and seeing.
Weight Demands:
Medium lifting (20-40 pounds).
Working Conditions:
Indoor environment.
Driving Requirement:
Occasional Driver.
