River Point Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of UHS, is an 84-bed treatment facility, conveniently located in beautiful central Jacksonville, FL that specializes in the successful treatment of substance abuse and mental health issues for youth, adults and seniors. Our progressive team members in the fields of psychiatry, medicine, nursing, social services, education and activity therapy are all committed to provide compassionate, comprehensive care that uniquely fits the intensity and severity of each patient's needs. We are pleased to announce the following available position:
PRN ACTIVITY THERAPIST The Activity Therapist plans and conducts varied group and individual recreation therapy for all patients. Additionally, the Activity Therapist helps coordinate scheduling and programming, Provides groups and AT assessments for behavioral health inpatient clients all ages
Qualifications Must be a Masters level art therapist, certified yoga instructor, CTRS, or certified music therapist. All other candidates will not be considered. Preferably certified through National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or meets requirements to be certified.
A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRS) preferred. We offer:
