We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planner to join our team in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a permanent position and offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our company's production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Continuous Process Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, with a proven ability to optimize production processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency in line with business objectives.
2. Coordinate with different departments such as procurement, production, and logistics to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
3. Utilize Continuous Process Manufacturing techniques to streamline production processes and minimize waste.
4. Implement Continuous Improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
5. Monitor production progress, anticipate potential issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
6. Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products and meet customer satisfaction.
7. Analyze production data, identify trends, and generate reports for management review.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production planning role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in Continuous Process Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques.
4. Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
8. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
9. Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar will be an added advantage.
