This is an 100% Onsite role in Seattle, WA

Duration of Contract : 2 years

Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Position Summary: 

• QA Tester will support Client's Accela-based platform by performing both functional and technical testing of new and existing software components.


• The position requires strong familiarity with Accela workflows, automated and manual test design, and preproduction defect analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, regression, and system testing for Accela and integrated applications.


• Create and execute test cases (manual and automated).


• Track and document software defects using Client's established QA tools and procedures.


• Participate in the development of precise and testable specification documents.


• Conduct root cause analysis on defects in staging and production.


• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and the EPIC/Accela teams.


• Recommend improvements to QA processes, test templates, and validation strategies.


• Stay current with platform updates and advise the team on test impacts.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with Accela or similar permitting/workflow systems.


• Familiarity with Accela Civic Platform components, including record types, workflows, and ACA.


• Experience in test documentation, bug tracking, and QA process optimization.


• Strong analytical, documentation, and defect triaging skills.


• Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to work with database-driven applications.


• Experience supporting QA in public sector or municipal IT environments preferred.
