We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Tester to join our team on a contract basis in Cranston, Rhode Island. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of software testing strategies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality web-based applications. This position requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and collaborate on comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough coverage of application functionalities.
• Execute manual and exploratory testing techniques to identify software defects and usability issues.
• Perform white box and black box testing on web-based applications, documenting all findings accurately.
• Track, record, and follow up on defects using established defect tracking systems.
• Assist the QA team in verifying the quality and functionality of websites and applications before release.
• Conduct usability testing to ensure the user experience aligns with project goals.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for test procedures and quality assurance steps.
• Utilize curiosity and problem-solving skills to uncover hidden defects during testing.
• Adhere to established timelines and project deadlines while maintaining precision and accuracy.• 1-4 years of relevant experience as a Software Tester.
• Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium.
• Experience with test plan documentation and the creation of automated test cases.
• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work collaboratively and support team efforts.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, though not required.
