Financial Administrator (Part-Time)
Location: Issaquah, WA (In-office, Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce)
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Pay: $30/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Financial Administrator (Full-Charge Bookkeeper) to oversee all financial activities. This position is essential to maintaining the organization’s financial health, supporting leadership with reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements
Assist with annual budget planning alongside the CEO
Support the Finance Committee, CEO, and Treasurer with financial reviews
Produce financial reports for Board of Directors meetings
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Manage employee benefits and reporting
Oversee billing and collection of membership dues and sponsorships
Generate invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
Prepare monthly membership reports (new, dropped, renewing members)
Handle cash management and reporting during the Salmon Days Festival
Supervise volunteers and reconcile vendor commissions after the festival
Provide accurate post-event financial reports
Occasionally work early mornings, evenings, and additional hours during festival season
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper (nonprofit/membership -based preferred)
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
Experience with HR forms
Highly organized with attention to detail
Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements
Primarily a desk-based role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment during the Salmon Days Festival
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Overtime required during the festival (Oct. 4–5, 2025)
