This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in postpartum and mother/baby care. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns, focusing on couplet care. The role requires a minimum of two years of current postpartum experience, including couplet care, and travel experience. The nurse will collaborate with other healthcare professionals and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, other nurses, etc.).
- Managing a caseload of postpartum patients and their newborns (4 couplets to 1 RN on nights).
- Documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
- Performing couplet care.
- Participating in travel assignments.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of two years of current postpartum experience.
- Postpartum couplet care experience.
- Travel nursing experience.
- BLS certification.
- COVID-19 vaccinations and booster.
- MA RN License
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Special Considerations:
- Shift work: Days (7 AM to 7 PM), every other weekend.
- Staffing ratio: 4 couplets per RN on night shifts (implied similar during the day shift).
- Travel experience is required.
- Candidates who have worked permanently or as travelers at any Beth Israel facility within the past six months are not eligible.
