RN Medical Coder - RN and Coding License Required Location: Remote CSI Companies is hiring a
Registered Nurse Medical Coder for our Fortune 100 healthcare client.
Job Summary The RN Certified Coder will work on a Certificate of Coverage (COC) and Summary Plan Description (SPD) project full-time, helping to build out the coding for benefit plans. This role will support the Clinical Services team and involve collaboration with a team of certified coders and business analysts.
Pay : Compensation based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM EST, Monday to Friday

Status: Consultant: Starting off as a consultant/contractor there is always potential for long term / conversion for the right employee upon business needs. Almost all of the positions within this client start off as a contractor due to being a Fortune 100 company.
Effective Date / Tentative Start Date: Interviewing Immediately
Job Duties: - Determine appropriate codes for benefit plan language.
- Review and validate coding designations made by peers.
- Facilitate discussions to finalize coding documents.
- Review audit results and make necessary adjustments.
- Participate in project meetings.
Requirements - Active unrestricted RN license.
- 3+ years' experience with coding and reimbursement methodologies (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, CMS).
- 3+ years as a Certified Professional Coder (AAPC or AHIMA).
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Highly Preferred - Large corporation experience
- Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience.
