Turner Specialty Services, LLC is seeking experienced Rope Access Electrical Technicians with certification in the Houston, TX area for long‑term assignments. The Rope Access E/I Technician is responsible for carrying out standard rope access operations to perform maintenance, repairs, and other industrial work tasks on industrial petro‑chemical equipment while on ropes. The Technician must have the ability to perform work that is physically demanding, have good communication skills, and the ability to assimilate a large amount of new information. Responsibilities may also include rescue operations, technical reports, and administrative tasks. Use industrial rope access methods and related equipment to access and complete a wide variety of maintenance, repairs, and other industrial work tasks while on ropes or in difficult access areas Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to the IRATA/SPRAT standards and practices Ensure team members utilize proper personal protective equipment Display a healthy respect for heights and follow all OSHA, site‑specific and company safety procedures Participate in required training and maintain a working understanding of rope access safe working practices Inspect and verify rope access systems and components before use Recognize worksite hazards and notify the Rope Access Supervisor of any unsafe conditions Maintain proficiency in rescue techniques and assist in rescues as directed and in accordance with certification level Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, and walking Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent IRATA / SPRAT Level I, II, or III certification Current TWIC Card required Must be NCCER Certified and/or hold an Electrician County/State license Minimum of 3 years as an Industrial Electrician

Must have a capacity for work at height Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds Valid Driver’s License Ability to pass a background check and drug test Essential Qualifications SPRAT or IRATA Level I, II, or III certified High school diploma or equivalent Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem‑solving skills Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation Hazard Communication orientation/test Turner Industries Group, LLC Indoctrination OSHA approved corrective eyewear (Z87) CPR certification Job site orientation Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.) Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.) Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace Compensation Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Physical Involvement Employee may be required to climb ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintain balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reach in all directions, handle and manipulate objects and materials; coordinate the movement of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lift 30–50 lbs. from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carry objects, tools, etc.; stand; sit; walk; see with or without correction; hear with or without correction; follow set procedures and standards; apply basic mathematical skills; plan work; compare and understand differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects; picture and evaluate solid objects from drawings or diagrams using standards that can be measured or checked; follow oral and/or written directions, plans and blueprints; read; write; and have the ability to recognize and report safety hazards.
