Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Sanitation Technician to join a leading food manufacturing facility. This critical position helps ensure the safety, cleanliness, and compliance of food processing equipment and work areas. Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and facility areas following established procedures.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery for proper cleaning.
• Handle and mix cleaning chemicals safely according to documented instructions.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly for all tasks.
• Complete sanitation checklists and required documentation accurately.
• Monitor and support food safety standards including Cook/Cooling Temps, Metal Detection, and Pre-Operational Cleaning.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts (certification preferred or will train).
• Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately from production areas.
• Report equipment malfunctions or sanitation issues promptly.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, use ladders, and work in hot, cold, or humid environments.
• Comfortable working around moving equipment, strong cleaning agents, and in noisy conditions.
• Must be able to read and understand safety/chemical labels and fill out basic forms.
• Forklift and scissor lift certification is a plus (training available).
• Must be dependable and follow safety and sanitation procedures closely.

Pay Rates:

• $16.50 - Days
• $17.50 - Swing
• $18.00 - Nights
