ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Reviews and follows the designated cleaning schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed as required.
Completes and maintains cleaning records to ensure compliance and traceability.
Performs both cosmetic and deep cleaning in various areas, including:

Production and packaging areas

Utilizes various cleaning and maintenance equipment, such as:
- Zero-turn lawn mower, push mower, string trimmer, and backpack blower
- Forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, backpack HEPA vacuum, and power washer
Meets requirements for HACCP, BRC, and FSMA. Observes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Maintains a safe environment, promptly reporting any safety concerns or equipment issues to a supervisor.
Sets up and safely operates portable ladders, scissor lifts, aerial/man lifts, and performs tasks at elevated levels.
Conducts and documents pre-use inspections on all equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintains cleanliness in restrooms, locker rooms, halls, offices, break rooms, conference room, training room, laboratory, control room, and janitor rooms.
Distributes cleaning materials to plant and warehouse staff and prepares cleaning chemical dilutions.
Conducts inventory checks on cleaning products and equipment and ensures stock levels meet operational needs.
Inspects production areas for cleaning utensil needs, performs routine checks, and maintains dispensers for paper, soap, and hand sanitizers.
Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma preferred.
Previous experience in cleaning and sanitation, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.
Certification in operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts preferred.
Strong visual and analytical skills for quality control
