School Social Worker - Full-Time (2024-25 School Year)

We’re excited for a full-time School Social Worker to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Oak Forest, IL! In this role, you will support students from kindergarten to 12th grade as part of a dedicated, onsite team of social workers. Caseloads are typically shared across 1-2 classrooms, providing an excellent opportunity to work closely with colleagues and students alike. You’ll have a voice in the assignment process, ensuring alignment with your strengths and preferences. Typical work hours are from 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, and you'll also contribute to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiatives.

About the Therapeutic Alternative Program:

This unique program emphasizes positive behavioral supports, individualized instruction, and various therapeutic services. The goal is to equip students with the academic and social skills they need to thrive and become productive members of society.

Requirements:

• Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
• IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
• Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
