As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Greenville, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding access control protocols. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and/or drills as required by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment in an aerospace and defense setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
