As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a welcoming presence while supporting security-related protocols. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting with badge control, responding to alarms, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will help to deter incidents through your professional demeanor and attention to detail. Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting and verifying the credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain detailed records of visitor check-ins, deliveries, and other front desk activities.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with property management, building staff, and/or emergency responders as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Support a welcoming environment at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
