As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter unwanted incidents while you conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. You will also assist with access control and badge verification, helping to create a secure environment. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and staff, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Document incidents and observations according to Allied Universal protocols, maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required by site protocols.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
