As a Security Officer - Hospital Unarmed Patrols in Brunswick, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors in a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff in maintaining order during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as per Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A Private Investigator License for unarmed roles is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
