As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and uphold the values of teamwork, integrity, and reliability that define Allied Universal. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies and/or drills as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
