As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entry and exit points, responding to inquiries, and delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving may be part of your duties. Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk and provide a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with security-related procedures, including checking identification and issuing visitor badges as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site contacts regarding any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities at the front desk, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when necessary.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals with directions or information about the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
