As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will play a crucial role in supporting a secure environment for guests, staff, and property. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position involves a driving component, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas by vehicle as well as on foot. You will use communication skills and attention to detail to respond to situations as they arise, always reflecting Allied Universal’s commitment to teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat11:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun05:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents within the premises.
• Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity.
• Complete required documentation and/or reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities as directed by Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
