As a Security Professional - School Patrol Full-Time in Greensboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more.

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic education location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your presence will be highly visible, supporting a sense of well-being for students, staff, and visitors. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus grounds and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns, reporting observations according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and helping to enforce site-specific policies.
• Support campus events and activities by maintaining a security-related presence and providing assistance as needed.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with campus community members and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
