Job Description The key objectives of the Senior Director Marketing Communications position at Contentful are to lead a team responsible for public relations, corporate communications, executive communications, and employee communications on a global scale. The main focus is on shaping and delivering the company narrative across all external and internal communications channels, with a strong emphasis on developing cohesive and compelling messaging to drive brand awareness and thought leadership goals for 2024. The role involves working closely with marketing leadership and executives to set high-level communication strategies, create compelling external communications content, develop differentiated messaging, and lead storytelling and messaging efforts across global and local teams. Additionally, the position requires providing media training for executives, leading a diverse team of communication and marketing professionals, managing media relations programs, overseeing internal communications, and developing and implementing crisis communication plans.
