Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge power supply systems. This position is based in Bohemia, New York , and offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 , along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Role Overview: As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will leverage your extensive knowledge in electrical and power supply concepts to design and enhance power supply systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our designs meet industry standards and are optimized for efficient manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design power supply systems with a focus on meeting specified requirements and standards.
• Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure designs are cost-effective and scalable while maintaining quality.
• Utilize your hands-on experience to innovate, troubleshoot, and refine power supply products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in power supply electrical design.
• Proficient in thermal system design for power supply applications.
• Familiarity with safety and reliability standards in power conversion devices.
• Experience in firmware programming is advantageous.
• Proficiency in simulation and computation programs is a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing best practices is beneficial.
