Job Description

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Model Serving team for Roblox Cube , you will be responsible for building the production systems that enable the safe and reliable deployment of our cutting-edge 3D and 4D generative AI models. You will design, implement, and scale infrastructure to orchestrate the complex workflow for producing high-fidelity 3D and 4D textured meshes that are compliant with Roblox policies. We are seeking accomplished MLEs with a passion for ambiguous problems, curiosity to work in new spaces like 3D GenAI and a commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code to solve complex GenAI serving challenges at scale.

You Will:

• Design, build, and own critical components of the serving infrastructure supporting our generative AI efforts focusing on usability, reliability, scalability, and performance.


• Implement robust pipelines for collecting datasets and evaluating to build safe and compliant multimodal AI systems.


• Drive improvements in model serving & evaluation infrastructure architecture, engineering best practices, and operational excellence.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development


• 3+ years of experience developing systems at scale, shipping products to production.


• Proven experience deploying ML models in production at scale and


• Experience with fine-tuning VLMs, LLMs and large multi-modal LLMs for improving the quality & safety of models.


• Are proficient in Python and familiar with frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, HuggingFace libraries.


• Are passionate about the potential of Generative AI, particularly in creative domains like 3D/4D content.


• Are comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or other technical field is a plus.
