Expert Restaurant Supply is a leading commercial kitchen equipment and supplies dealer in Tucson, AZ. We are currently seeking an experienced sheet metal fabricator/ installer to join our team!
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the layout and fabrication of HVAC ducts, stainless steel trim, shelving, cabinets, hoods, etc. The candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of “blue print to installation” skills to create and install items made from sheet metal. The metals involved would be stainless steel, black metal, aluminum, and galvanized steel. The Installer will use our sheet metal fabrication shop to fabricate items for commercial kitchens, and a large team to assist in the installation of items produced to complete projects.
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following competencies, skills and abilities:
∙2+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
∙2+ years welding experience with the mentioned metals
∙Ability to read and fabricate from blue prints
∙Ability to use various tools including shear, brake, welders, plasma cutters, hand tools, etc.
∙Willingness to install items that were fabricated if necessary
∙Ability to work safely in the shop and on the jobsite
∙Excellent ability to work on a team and a willingness to create a positive customer experience
∙Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
∙Strong time management & organizational skills
∙Ability to work independently and stay in schedule
∙Ability to pass drug screening
∙Commercial kitchen experience is a strong plus!
Schedule:
∙Branch Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with an hour lunch. Some jobs start before this time, but there would be advance notice.
Compensation:
-This position is paid hourly
