EAST TULSA FABRICATION SHOP SEEKING EXPERIENCED SHOP HELPERS

Job Description:
Supported daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing shop environment by assisting with equipment preparation, material handling, and general mechanical tasks. Required strong hands-on skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of basic shop tools and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisted with fabrication and assembly tasks, using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operated forklifts and overhead cranes to safely move heavy materials and components throughout the shop.
• Used grinders and other finishing tools to prep or clean metal parts as needed.
• Maintained a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials were stored properly.
• Read and followed basic blueprints, measurements, and work orders to support production requirements.
• Performed quality checks on materials and components to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Supported mechanics and welders with part preparation, equipment setup, and staging materials for jobs.
• Followed all safety procedures and participated in shop safety practices, including PPE and equipment inspections.

Skills Used:

• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Tape measure and layout skills
• Forklift and overhead crane operation
• Hand and power tools (grinders, drills, impacts, etc.)
• Basic blueprint reading and manufacturing knowledge
• Safe material handling and shop awareness

Pay : $18-20/HR

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6am – 4pm with some Saturdays as needed
