Margot European Day Spa, an award-winning luxury spa in the heart of Birmingham, MI for 45 years, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to lead our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate is a passionate and business-minded leader with a proven track record in the high-end spa or hospitality industry. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of spa operations, ensuring an unparalleled guest experience, driving profitability, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of estheticians, massage therapists, nail technicians, and front desk staff. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal coverage.

• Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. Manage inventory of professional and retail products, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and ensure all equipment is in excellent working order.

• Guest Experience: Uphold and elevate our 5-star standard of customer service. Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism and grace, ensuring every client leaves feeling renewed and valued.

• Financial Management: Drive spa revenue and profitability through effective sales strategies, treatment promotions, and retail initiatives. Manage the spa’s budget, control costs, and provide regular financial reports to ownership.

• Marketing & Community Engagement: Collaborate with ownership on marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones. Represent Margot European Day Spa at community events to enhance our brand presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a luxury spa, high-end salon, or hospitality environment.

• Strong leadership skills with a talent for motivating and developing a team.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive sales.

• Proficient with spa management software (e.g., Booker, Mindbody) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Aesthetician or Massage Therapy license is a plus, but not required.

• Polished, professional, and a genuine passion for the wellness and beauty industry.
