Automotive Spray Painter

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Spray Painter to work for a company based in Zephyrhills, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for polishing and painting aerospace equipment/ parts, ensuring the highest quality and compliance with industry standards.

Pay Rate:

$65K - $75K a year, depending on experience

Schedule and hours

Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; must be able to work overtime.

Spray Painter Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces of aerospace components for painting and polishing, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Apply coatings and finishes to aerospace products using spray equipment, brushes, or other tools.
• Inspect and maintain paint equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company procedures during all tasks.
• Polish painted surfaces to achieve a high-gloss, flawless finish.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain organized work areas and properly store materials and supplies.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records as required.

Spray Painter Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience in painting, finishing, or a related industrial or automotive painting, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with HVLP spray equipment.
• Knowledge of various paint and coating types and application techniques.
• Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Understanding of quality standards and ability to achieve precise results.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
