JOB TITLE: Sr. Aircraft Cabinet Finisher
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:
Prepares, applies, and touches up finishes on aircraft furniture based on specifications and engineering drawings.
Under general supervision, the role involves overseeing projects, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring high-quality finishes.
Implements safety protocols and process improvements, using Lean Six Sigma tools to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
4+ years of experience in wood finishing processes.
Advanced knowledge of cabinet finishing processes and products.
Ability to interpret material specifications and design/engineering requirements.
Strong mentoring and leadership skills.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined spaces.
Computer literacy.
Desired Skills
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Knowledge of inspection and process specifications.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and process improvements.
