Dehart Recycling Equipment - Steel Fabricator/Welder

As a well-established, customer-centered company, DeHart Recycling Equipment is focused on clients’ needs to provide turn-key solutions through custom design, manufacturing, installation, and support  

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the assembly, building, and proper operation of industrial equipment to meet customer demands,   including Balers, Conveyors, and Shredders  

· Follows written plans to build industrial equipment.  

· Wants to work, strong work ethic

· Ability to read written plans/drawings/build specs  

· Fabricate equipment by welding various types of steel, using oxygen/acetylene, torch, and plasma cutter

· Safety compliance and efficiency to complete work orders  

· Maintain a clean and orderly work area

· Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required

· Process required project documentation promptly  

· Communicate and interact with others in a respectful and collaborative manner

· Regular attendance and timeliness are a must

· In general, use of forklift, welder, chop saw, grinders, and various power tools

Qualifications

·5 years of mechanical knowledge and experience

·5 years of Welding experience within the industrial, heavy equipment industries  

· Hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components is a plus. Basic to intermediate knowledge of programmable logic controllers, especially Allen-Bradley SLC, MicroLogix, and CompactLogix preferred

· Ability to comprehend operation manuals and basic designs  

· Willingness to train in company programs to enhance his or her knowledge

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Attention to detail

· Dependable

Education:

· Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on industrial equipment and steel fabricating experience with a mechanical mindset  

· HS Diploma or GED

· Certifications preferred
