Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals. Currently, at The 4 Cs Sports Lab, we train baseball and softball players specifically. We are wanting to continue to grow in other areas and sports in the future, and be able to offer the best possible training services around in all aspects. We want to be able to provide elite training, backed by science and data to help our athletes continue to grow their craft.
Duties
- Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients' current fitness levels (Ages 5-25 and older)
-Run group speed & agility sessions, group basic strength foundation sessions, as well as 1-on-1 training
- Develop personalized exercise programs based on clients' goals and abilities
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to clients
- Motivate and support clients to help them stay committed to their fitness goals
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to their workout plans as needed
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle choices to complement fitness routines
The ideal candidate will:
- Have Knowledge of group fitness and physical education principles
-Have Understanding basic strength foundations, as well as sports specific adaptations
-Work well with others
- Experience working in a gym or health club setting
- Background in sports coaching or bio-mechanics (History of baseball/softball is a plus)
- Ability to build relationships with clients
- Proficiency in program design tailored to individual needs
- Understanding of body mechanics to prevent injuries and optimize workouts
-Familiar with FMS
-Have their CSCS or other certifications of equal studies
-Knowledge of nutrition
-Willing to grow individually, as a part of The 4 Cs Sports Lab, continuing to study and learn daily
We have a large number of current clients who are eager to start on strength training and speed agility.
The base pay will be $25.00/hour with possible increase in 6 months. There will also be monthly incentives for growth. Current hours are after school and some Saturday mornings, with the possibility of growing to do early mornings or during the day.
