Position: System Integrator

Location: Pittsburgh, PA - onsite M-F

Duration: 1 year contract w/ extensions

Must Haves:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering, engineering technology, robotics, or related field
• 2+ years of professional experience providing product support that involves detailed SOP documentation
• Hands on experience with sensor integration and calibration
• Experience troubleshooting in a Linux environment and proven experience going into Linux terminals and using Linux command line utilities
• Understanding of different network protocols and basic network troubleshooting
• Scripting (Should be able to write basic automation tasks in bash or python)
• Strong communication skills

Plusses:

• Experience with virtual reality systems, cameras and optical systems, lighting systems, and audio systems

Day to Day:

Insight Gobal is seeking a System Integrator to join our team. The System Integrator will work closely with the User Studies team to understand ongoing issues with capture stages and correct these issues to keep the stages operational for external participants. Additional responsibilities include:

• Providing onsite troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support for the capture systems during the capture process.
• Maintain and address component bugs and issues
• Analyze frequent failures and make suggestions for how to solve these issues
• Create lasting solutions for frequent or recurring issues.
• Assembly support for system upgrades.
• Escalate any non-standard issues to the appropriate Client team using an internal issue reporting tool.
• Helping to maintain system documentation
• Collect data to verify component performance

Compensation:

$30/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
