Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Textile Designer to join a growing design team. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent time management skills, and a strong passion for rugs and interior design.
Key Responsibilities:
Create trend-forward textile designs that align with brand aesthetics.
Collaborate with a talented team of designers and creative leaders on design iterations.
Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and assist with team projects.
Prepare cohesive, production-ready design files with strong organization and attention to detail.
Communicate effectively by listening, asking relevant questions, and taking action quickly.
Requirments:
Degree in Textile Design or related professional experience.
Hands-on textile design experience, with a solid understanding of engineered patterns.
Fluency in Adobe Photoshop, with strong technical design skills including clean working techniques, file organization, and file management.
Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A proactive learner who understands and responds well to creative direction.
Preferred:
Strong interest in home/interior textiles, specifically rug and carpet design.
A portfolio that includes traditional, Persian, or ornate textile patterns/designs.
Skills in additional design programs (e.g., Fresco, Procreate, etc.).
