Pay:
$62,000-$66,500 annually (Determined by education and years of experience)
Schedule: We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling options designed to support a healthy work-life balance for our therapist.

About Us

Children’s Emergency Shelter/Ozark Family Resource Center provides essential therapeutic support to unhoused children and adolescents in the foster care system. We aim to offer a safe, secure, homelike setting, and nurturing environment to help our clients thrive.

OFRC shelters youth who:

  • Need short-term housing because of a family emergency or crisis.
  • Have recently been removed from the home for safety reasons.
  • Are homeless or are unsafely housed and not in foster care.

Job Summary

Our therapists provide crucial comfort, stability, and safety to children and adolescents during emotionally turbulent times filled with uncertainties. Through individual and group therapy, they assist clients in processing their emotions, coping with challenges, and finding security, all while working collaboratively with our team to improve overall care.

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Therapist I: PLPC or LMSW
