Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of toxic tort litigation matters across California.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
  • Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trials.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and pleadings.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, memoranda, and court filings.
  • Participate in trial preparation and provide litigation support.
  • Ensure compliance with court filing procedures, including e-filing.
  • Maintain organized case files and accurate timekeeping records.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in toxic tort litigation, environmental liability, or complex civil litigation.
  • Strong litigation skills, including handling depositions and motions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong communication and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to analyze and strategize complex legal issues.
  • Knowledge of e-filing procedures and case management systems.
  • Ability to handle high-volume litigation caseloads efficiently.
