Tasks & Responsibilities

• EJH Construction has been servicing our Commercial & Residential clients Remodeling & Restoration needs for the past 54 years
• Interested in traveling out of state 2-3 weeks at a time, then returning to work locally on jobsites
• Measure & Install commercial doors, windows, and frames , ensuring proper alignment and functionality
• Layout & Install acoustical ceiling grids and tiles to meet design specifications and sound control requirements
• Hang and finish drywall to create smooth surfaces ready for painting and finishing
• Ability to layout & install staircases
• Accurately measure, cut, & install trim, baseboards, crown molding, wainscoting, door casings, and window trims
• Accurately measure, cut, and shape materials to meet specifications using hand and power tools
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and company's quality requirements
• Clearly communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate project activities and schedules
• Maintain tools, materials, and job site cleanliness while adhering to safety regulations

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ Years of Carpentry Experience
• Available/Willing To Travel Out of State about 50%
• Current valid drivers' license and the ability to operate motor vehicles

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Continuous lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
