\nCT Technologist - CT Tech
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Perform computer tomography studies following established protocols
\n• Differentiate between normal and abnormal anatomy and tailor exams based on patient history and radiologist instructions
\n• Administer IV and oral contrast as required for procedures according to protocols
\n• Monitor patients' physical and mental condition throughout entire procedures
\n• Provide radiation protection for patients, self, and others using gonadal shielding and collimation
\n• Perform nursing duties including assisting radiologist in sterile procedures
\n• Practice sterile technique and obtain vital signs
\n• Must be proficient in venous puncture
\n• Obtain pertinent clinical history from patients
\n• Identify allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions and assist radiologist in treatment
\n• Must be able to perform X-Ray procedures in addition to CT
\n• Document all patient data and important information appropriately
\n• No call responsibilities required
\n• No weekend coverage required
\n• 2+ years of experience required
\n• Toshiba CT Scanner experience is preferred
\n• Required certifications: ARRT and BLS (AHA)
\n• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
