American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a NV RN license and Cath Lab experience with STEMI call.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Patient population includes those requiring emergency and elective angioplasty, drug-eluting stent placement, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation therapies
  • Day shifts are 10 hours, Monday through Friday, starting at 0630
  • On-call required 10-15 shifts per month to cover 24/7 STEMI call, including overnight and weekend rotations
  • Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
  • Primary responsibilities include assisting with emergency/elective angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and pacemaker implantation
  • Must have experience in both patient care and technical aspects of cath lab procedures
  • Expected to fulfill a variety of patient care tasks and responsibilities in accordance with current licensure, certification, and training
  • References from at least one recent manager or supervisor required for consideration
  • No local or previous employees within a 100-mile radius are eligible
  • Facility mandates infection control compliance including COVID and Flu vaccination

  • Active NV RN license in hand; pending licenses not accepted
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience with STEMI call in a US hospital required
  • Recent acute care experience required
  • Experience with structural heart and electrophysiology procedures preferred
  • RCES or RCIS certification preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • CPI certification mandated by position
  • US Social Security Number required
