• Location: Washington, DC 20007 – Georgetown neighborhood, close to museums, entertainment, and scenic parks\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n
• Start Date: December 22, 2025\n
• End Date: March 23, 2026\n
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (07:00 - 17:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,320 - $2,490\n
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital\n
• Patient Ratio: 1:1\n
• Unit: Cath Lab\n
• Charting System: Cerner\n
• Scrubs: Provided\n

\n\nCath Lab RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN, Interventional Vascular Lab, or Interventional Radiology nursing experience\n
• Active DC Registered Nurse license (in hand or pending with proof of application)\n
• ACLS and BLS certifications required\n
• BSN preferred\n
• Proficient in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures\n
• Skilled in central line insertion/management, IV initiation/maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, procedural sedation monitoring, ventilator monitoring, and PA lines\n
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n
• Two supervisor references required\n

\n\nCath Lab RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab with a 1:1 patient ratio\n
• Assist with cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures\n
• Support central line insertion and management\n
• Start and maintain IVs, monitor procedural sedation, and manage ventilators\n
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias\n
• Adhere to isolation precautions and ensure patient safety\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and social services\n
• Document patient care using Cerner charting system\n
• Complete orientation and required training modules\n
