Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 2 years of C-arm and O-arm experience in surgical settings and current ARRT certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work across outpatient, inpatient, and Level I Trauma center environments
  • Primary assignment in the Operating Room covering surgical cases with C-arm and O-arm equipment
  • 4x10 hour shifts on 2nd shift, with start times at either 10am or 11am
  • Includes on-call requirements for additional coverage
  • Opportunity to work in a teaching hospital setting with exposure to varied patient populations
  • Main responsibilities include providing intraoperative C-arm and O-arm imaging for surgical interventions and collaborating closely with surgical teams
  • Must maintain equipment functionality and ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Continuous education and training are encouraged
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • Fingerprints must be completed as soon as the contract is signed, with travel to an Ohio location if necessary
  • Reference requirements specify one must be from a supervisor or manager; coworker references are not accepted
  • Candidates must have been away from any Ohio State University hospital for at least 6 months to be eligible
  • Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital are not eligible for a traveler assignment
  • All requested time off must be submitted and built into the contract

  • Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)
  • Active BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma or academic hospital
  • Demonstrated expertise with C-arm and O-arm surgical imaging
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager
  • License required if applicable
