Job Description
We are currently hiring a Truck and Trailer Mechanic for a full-time, day shift position in Fremont, CA . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled professional with experience in truck, trailer, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of mechanic experience, welding skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality service.
Responsibilities:
Service and maintain company trucks, trailers, forklifts, loaders, and other equipment in a timely and professional manner.
Perform welding tasks on both steel and aluminum components as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and wear full PPE at all times.
Work closely with management to complete assigned responsibilities efficiently and safely.
Keep accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of mechanic experience in truck/trailer/equipment maintenance.
Valid Class C driver’s license required (Class B is a plus).
Proven ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles, trailers, bulk trailers, forklifts, etc.
Welding experience with both steel and aluminum .
Must be knowledgeable in safety regulations and able to physically perform the tasks required.
Clean DMV record required
