ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented UI/UX Front End Developer to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia. This is a hybrid position. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Experience with design software, wireframe tools, and user journey maps, Ability to quickly prototype solutions leveraging usability principles Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, Figma, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite Building/developing user interfaces and rich client browser applications using software design patterns Understanding the needs of CBP Officers to build officer-centric apps and tools Observing user behavior to improve the visual design and flow of analytic applications Performing user research (i.e. target users/personas) and user testing (e.g., wireframes, prototypes) Collaborating with product owners, scrum masters, project managers and other application engineers to gather, evaluate and implement solutions that support user requirements/needs Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree) Knowledge of coding with UI coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX) Experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery) Experience with Agile iterative software development methodology, processes and practices Familiar with Security DevOps and CI/CD Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS EC2, RDS, S3) Understanding of U.S. Digital Service Playbook concepts and Draft U.S. Web Design Standards Experience with agile lifecycle management and engineering tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira, Confluence) Experience using web/application server technologies (e.g., Tomcat etc.,) Experience with wireframing and prototyping Clearance Requirements CBP BI Preferred Must have an Active Public Trust Clearance or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance Must be a US Citizen Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
