Job Description
Job Title: Underground Miner
Role & Responsibilities:
· Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting.
· Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum.
· Basic troubleshooting/maintenance skills to facilitate equipment performance.
· Recording of production data and other results in the manner required.
· Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
· Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Some prior experience operating off-road equipment is preferred.
· Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner.
· Must possess a valid driver's license. CDL a plus but not required.
· Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks.
· Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment.
· Team player, good communication skills needed with all co-workers.
· Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
· Must be able to pass ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) Employee Possessor clearance.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
