Job Description
We are seeking talented and team-oriented associates to join our luxury senior living community, Balfour Central Park , located in the popular Central Park neighborhood in north Denver . Here our residents enjoy our signature amenities and services. We are committed to a work environment of integrity, respect and a customer focus.
Our volunteer positions vary from hands-on resident contact, such as helping in various departments to assisting in non-clinical areas. Based on the needs at our locations, prospective volunteers are matched to assignments that align with their interests and availability. All volunteers must attend a mandatory orientation, and additional training is provided prior to working in the assigned area. Volunteer times vary depending on the needs of each department.
In order to be a volunteer at BSL, one must meet all of the following requirements:
• Be 16 years of age or older
• Commit to a minimum of 60 hours per year at BSL
• E-mail a copy of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella, and booster vaccinations with your application, or mail separately
• E-mail a copy of a tuberculosis (TB) test you've taken within the past three months; if you haven't been recently tested, you can get a TB test by BSL.
• Receive a mandatory yearly flu shot.
• Remain up to date on all CDC recommended COVID-19 vaccinations
• Pass a background check and drug test.
