Monroe Staffing is a division of Staffing 360 Solutions. We are a leading staffing firm in the U.S. in the light industrial sector. We are seeking a General Helper to place at a reputable manufacturer in Marlborough, MA. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be able to work quickly and consistently. A willingness to work extended shifts and weekends is a plus.

Location:

Marlborough, MA

Salary:

$18.50/hour

Shifts/Times

2nd Shift 3pm-3am, Mon-Fri

Mandatory OT Sat

Responsibilities of a General Helper:

1. Assist machine operators in setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment.
2. Perform manual tasks such as material handling, packing, and stacking products.
3. Ensure raw materials are available and properly loaded onto machines.
4. Monitor production processes to identify any issues and report them to supervisors.
5. Perform basic quality checks on finished products.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
7. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
9. Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed (training provided).
10. Assist in other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Skills of an General Helper:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
3. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
5. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
7. Basic math and reading skills.
