ADVANCED BACKGROUND CHECKS REQUIRED: in order to be eligible to work at Maersk, you must pass a background check which includes the following:
DRUG SCREENS & Orientation are REQUIRED at 2115 S 3600 W, West Valley City, UT, 84119. Most weeks, orientation is on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays. There is one session each day, at 11:00 AM. Once you complete orientation, you will be moved onto the job at Maersk, added to the upcoming 1 Day Projects, and eligible to work at Maersk in the future. You will be paid 1.5 hours of orientation pay, once you work a full shift at Maersk – West Valley.
The job will consist of the following: Picking orders by cart via tablet, and packing/shipping orders on tables with the use of a PC and RF scanner. Also hand-labeling orders by VAS job specifications.
Must be able to be on your feet for 8-9 hours.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Breaks: 2-15 minute (paid) breaks & one 30 minute (unpaid) lunch break.
Refrigerators and vending machines onsite.
There are no lockers to store your items, please leave your personal possessions at home.
