Position Overview: GD Resources is seeking two highly skilled Senior Drupal Web Developers to support a high-visibility digital modernization initiative. The role is central to the design, development, and deployment of Drupal-based enterprise websites, ensuring full compliance with New York State usability, accessibility, and web governance standards. Successful candidates will bring deep expertise in both frontend and backend Drupal architecture, leveraging Acquia Cloud infrastructure and advanced development practices to elevate web service delivery across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities: - Website Development & Maintenance: Architect, build, and maintain complex Drupal websites that are functionally accessible, mobile-responsive, and standards-compliant.
- Platform Integration: Utilize Acquia Cloud hosting environments and integrate Drupal with enterprise-level content management workflows and tools.
- Custom Development: Implement custom modules, features, and themes tailored to stakeholder needs using PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, and Twig templating.
- User Experience Optimization: Conduct web graphical and cross-browser testing to ensure optimal performance across platforms.
- Version Control & Collaboration: Employ modern version control practices using GIT to manage source code efficiently within team environments.
Qualifications: - 64+ months of advanced experience in custom Drupal module development, including custom themes, features, and module extension.
- 48+ months of hands-on experience working within the Acquia Cloud platform and integrating tools such as SearchStax and SOLR.
- Demonstrated expertise using core Drupal modules including CTools, Views, and Panels , with proficiency in extending these modules programmatically.
- Minimum 64 months of experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and SASS .
- Minimum 64 months of backend programming experience in PHP with emphasis on scalable and secure Drupal development practices.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery with at least 64 months of experience in interactive and responsive web interfaces.
- 48+ months of experience using GIT for version control within collaborative development teams.
- Extensive experience conducting cross-platform/browser compatibility testing and implementing responsive web design strategies in line with best practices and NYS guidelines.
